- SETTING UP KNIGHTS FOR MULTINODE'S
- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
-
- Simply enough, MAKE SURE you have
- SHARE.EXE loaded before you plan
- to set up knights.
-
- After that, Knights does the rest,
- simply use the following examples
- for each node running knights.
-
-
-
- Example for NODE 1
- ------------------
-
- KNIGHTS.EXE C:\BBS\NODE1 1
- ----------- ------------ ---
- Knights Exe DropFile Path Actual Node #
-
-
- Example for NODE 2
- ------------------
-
- KNIGHTS.EXE C:\BBS\NODE2 2
- ----------- ------------ ---
- Knights Exe DropFile Path Actual Node #
-
-
- And etc... for all other Nodes.
-
-
- Knights will create a NODE#.DAT file in each node dir, or you can actually
- have knights running all from 1 straight directory. Because, as mentioned
- KNIGHTS CREATES ITS OWN NODE#.DAT FILE FOR EACH NODE. So, if there were 2
- players online and you were running from a straight directory, you would
- find after logoff, NODE1.DAT and NODE2.DAT files both in the dir.
-
- Of course the above is all optional, to keep a better understanding of what
- is going on, it is better to create seperate directorys for each node.
